How do you keep up on a Single Mom’s budget?! Cell phones, iPods, mp3 players, myspace…. heck, I’m craving for my space (that’d be an intended pun)! After reading my favorite marketing guru’s latest blog; in which he comments about his latest middle school visit: 70 - 80% of seventh graders own cell phones I’m thinkin, great! So does that mean my sons are deprived?! One high school freshman and an eighth grader, no cell phones - how do they manage?! Sure, I have a cell phone for work and emergencies and there are times when I wish they each had one. If merely to say “how come you aren’t home yet?” (okay I know, but if I called them just to say ‘I love you’, they’d gag) So on a single Mom’s budget, how do my son’s manage without a cell phone? ~very nicely~ as they have many friends to borrow one from…..I’m just sayin.
